BIOsens successfully got through all the challenges of the competition and was chosen for participation in the Special American Business Internship Training (SABIT) program “Information technology: management of startup companies”. Only 30 companies from more than 300 applications got the opportunity to get a 2,5 weeks internship in USA.

During the program, Andrii Karpiuk, CEO of BIOsens, visited Washington, New York, California and Texas where he got acquainted with the startup ecosystem of this country, received useful contacts for entry to the American market and learned about new market business methods. During the program, he studied law, business skills, business planning, intercultural communication and negotiation, and business management. Moreover, our team got the first place in the Startup Battle in San Francisco.

*The SABIT program was developed in 1990 by the International Trade Administration at the US Department of Commerce in Washington. The purpose of the program is to facilitate the economic restructuring of the CIS countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. SABIT conducts internships for middle- and senior-level managers, CIS scientists and engineers in small, medium and large US companies and non-governmental organizations.
